Day 4 - Fukuoka

2 days ago I went to Okayama and visited Okayama Castle known as Crow Castle, I also visited the Korakuen Gardens. They are very beautiful and are one of the the Three Great Gardens of Japan.

Yesterday I visited Hiroshima and its war memorials. I was very moved by some of the plaques with quotes from the people before they were about to die.

Today I am in Fukuoka. I bought a ticket for the Sky Dream Fukuoka for ¥800 and what a fantastic view it was. I then looked around the city and ate at many different restaurants.

Tomorrow I plan to travel to Kumamoto.

Planning my Holiday

Today is the 12th of January, 2008. Outside my home it is raining. Inside, my parents are watching the TV at a deafening volume and my little sister is annoying me. In a word, it's mayhem.

I just need to get away from it all. But how? Japan, that's the answer. I'll plan a holiday to Japan.

The first thing I should think of is the duration of my holiday. I think two weeks would be good.

Where should I visit? I've heard that there's a Disneyland in Tokyo, that would be fun. But I also want something relaxing. I know, hot springs. There are lots of them in Japan. What about something adventurous? I could climb Mt. Fuji.
